Background checks will be initiated and references will be required. A solid Christian testimony and membership at an evangelical Christian church are mandatory - No interviews will be granted without this requirement being met.
Personal Qualifications for Employment
- All applicants shall complete an Application of Employment.
- All applicants must submit verification of your legal right to work in the US and sign an I-9 form.
- All employees at ICS shall be born-again Christians.
- All employees shall be active members of an evangelical church. The Head of School and Principals shall be members of Immanuel Baptist Church. All employees shall be in agreement with the stated purposes of the school as outlined in the Philosophy of Education and Statement of Doctrinal Beliefs.
- All employees shall give evidence of good moral character.
- Teachers must complete a Personal Philosophy as to why they want to teach in a Christian school.
- All applicants must submit a personal testimony of their relationship with Jesus Christ.
- All applicants must be willing to conform to school policies and procedures.
- Head of School and Principals shall initially interview all prospective employees and after careful evaluation, will best fill the various classified positions.
- Daycare instructors or caregivers will also interview with the Daycare Director.
- All employees shall be classified as probationary for the first six months of continuous service.
- All employees considered for employment will undergo a background check.
