Teacher Appreciation Week Profile: Brandy Snyder

May 1st-5th was Teacher Appreciation Week! In honor of all the hard work that our teachers do day-in and day-out we wanted to profile several of our awesome teachers; taking a look at how and why they chose Immanuel to call home.

Brandy Snyder is our other Secondary Science Teacher here at ICS. She is an Alumnus of Faith Baptist Academy and attended Calvary Bible College and Liberty University, attaining a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, Master’s in Human Services, and a Master’s in Teaching in Learning.

Snyder has worked at ICS for 17 years now. She recalls that ICS was where she was being called by God to teach, straight out of college. Her favorite memory at ICS occurs day-in and day-out as she gets to laugh with her students during class.

Education was not always in the cards for Snyder, as she had plans work as a Forest Ranger in Wildlife Management. “I guess I’m doing half of it,” said a laughing Snyder. She credits her teaching career for much of the knowledge she has attained over the years; more so than she has learned from any book.

Thank you Brandy Snyder for being a part of our ICS Family, your hard work as an educator is truly appreciated!
